The DA in the Western Cape is
concerned about reports that the South Africa Police Services is not adequately
utilise the City of Cape Town CCTV security cameras in the fight against crime.
Anneka Scheepers…“This is concerning that the CCTV footage
are not utilised effectively to fight crime in the City Of Cape Town.
This
despite false accusations by the former national police commissionery that the
City Of Cape Town is not implementing this measure effectively.
This
according to Murray Winger who is the spokesperson and community safety in the
Western Cape provincial parliament.”
