The Cape Town International Festival was a Huge success.
The City was full of good vibes Thanks to all the Sponsors. The City of Cape Town, espAfrica, Prasa and Many More.
It was not a weekend thing but a journey. From the Training and Development classes, to the Free Concerts and the Public debate of Yakhal'inkomo by Percy Mabandu. Where we learnt about Music through Journalism and what role did it play back in the days of apartheid.
The people expressed how they felt the most in Social Media, other people were from overseas they were going to come specially for the Festival. The Mahotella Queens celebrated their 50th anniversary this year and they Performed at the Festival. This Year the CTIJF was celebrating their 16th year ever since the festival started.
Thank you for the opportunity given to the Cape Peninsula University of Technology students. Thank you for the educational Journey. Many Thanks for the wonderful weekend. Happy Sweet 16 CTIJF.
