The DA is concerned that the CCTV is not adequately utilised

The DA in the Western Cape is concerned about reports that the South Africa Police Services is not adequately utilise the City of Cape Town CCTV security cameras in the fight against crime.

Anneka Scheepers…“This is concerning that the CCTV footage are not utilised effectively to fight crime in the City Of Cape Town.

This despite false accusations by the former national police commissionery that the City Of Cape Town is not implementing this measure effectively.

This according to Murray Winger who is the spokesperson and community safety in the Western Cape provincial parliament.”

The Cape Town International Festival was a Huge success.
The City was full of good vibes Thanks to all the Sponsors. The City of Cape Town, espAfrica, Prasa and Many More.
It was not a weekend thing but a journey. From the Training and Development classes, to the Free Concerts and the Public debate of Yakhal'inkomo by Percy Mabandu. Where we learnt about Music through Journalism and what role did it play back in the days of apartheid.
The people expressed how they felt the most in Social Media, other people were from overseas they were going to come specially for the Festival. The Mahotella Queens celebrated their 50th anniversary this year and they Performed at the Festival. This Year the CTIJF was celebrating their 16th year ever since the festival started.
